For aircraft designers, rather than aircraft stress men - This book is a great source of inspiration to aircraft structural designers rather than stress engineers - which has always been the (unique) purpose of the text. The book presents good and modern examples of solving fundamental problems that daily face aircraft structural designers, and has yet to be beaten. Back in the late 1990 s, this book was standard issue to Boeing design engineers - what more can be said. In short, a timeless piece of reference for aircraft structural designers. A new century update of this work is awaited with eagerness on all five continents.
A good all round Aircraft Design reference book - This book gives a good introduction to the concepts used in Aircraft design and is an excellent source of easily accessed reference data. It is not a detailed as BRUHN but easily understood.
